Botter is the winner of the 2022 ANDAM Grand Prix. The announcement took place was at an open-air ceremony in the gardens of the Palais-Royal in Paris on Thursday night.
The Dutch Menswear label by Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh beat 13 finalists (who presented individually their business and creative project to the 33 jury's members) to win the grand prize of 300,000 euros and a year of coaching from Chanel's Bruno Pavlovsky.
Other winners include London-based designer womenswear brand Robert Wun who won the Special Prize of 100,000 euros while the Pierre Berge Prize of 100,000 euros was awarded to Paris-based menswear label Bluemarble. Paris-based jewelry designer Dolly Cohen won the Accessories Prize, valued at 50,000 euros.
As part of the awards, Balenciaga will provide the fashion finalists with its stocks of fabrics and raw materials for the development and production of their collections, Galeries Lafayette will guide them with their collection merchandising and sales strategy, Google will them a one-to-one mentoring meeting with Sebastien Missoffe, VP Google France and Derek Blasberg, YouTube's Head of Beauty & Fashion, Instagram will provide them with dedicated mentoring sessions with Eva Chen, VP Fashion Partnerships, and Clara Cornet, Fashion Partnerships Southern Europe and Mytheresa will provide Botter a series of working sessions with members of the senior leadership team and a 1-year mentoring with quarterly digital touch base.
