H&M's fast-fashion disrupter subsidiary Arket has opened its second store in the Netherlands.
Located in The Hague at Wagenstraat 14 one of the most important shopping streets in the city, the new store covers a whopping 640 square meters. It is a modern-day market with clothing and accessories for men, women, and children, as well as a homeware department. The store will sell classic and high-quality items from both Arket itself and brands outside the H&M group.
Additionally, the store also has an Arket cafe that offers sandwiches, salads, and sweets inspired by the Nordic cuisine, as well as seasonal coffee blends, teas and infusions, and cold drinks combining traditional Scandinavian flavors with global influences.
'We are very happy to expand our presence in the Netherlands with our first store in The Hague. I look forward to meeting new customers and showing them the Arket brand, with products to love for a long time,' said Pernilla Wohlfahrt, Arkets Managing Director.
Arket opened its first store in the Netherlands Koningsplein Amsterdam in 2018 with an online presence since 2017. It has become a go-to street brand and already has stores in London, Brussels, Copenhagen, and Munich.
