French ready-to-wear brand A.P.C. and Los Angeles-based creative collective Brain Dead have teamed up for a Fall/Winter collection.
The third part of A.P.C's INTERACTION series, the capsule consists of 20 eclectic pieces for both men and women. The line not only revisits the Brain Dead logo but draws inspiration from Alex Grasshoff's 1972 movie Future Shock.
A.P.C's founder Jean Touitou and Brain Dead co-founder Kyle Ng connected over their mutual love of science fiction from the '60s and '70s. The result: jackets and jeans (printed with lines from the film script) to brightly colored hoodies, sneakers, and t-shirts adorned with a reinterpreted Brain Dead logo.
To promote the project Ng directed 3 sci-fi short films featuring the collection with a soundtrack by cult electronic musician Jerry Paper.
A.P.C is known for its creative collaborations with young talents to express their vision of fashion through a series of one-off pieces such as Kid Cudi and Suzanne Koller.
The A.P.C x Brain Dead 'Interaction #3' collection is available in-store and on A.P.C.'s e-shop.
