Amina Muaddi and Swarovski collaborate on exclusive luxury Sandal

Jordanian-Romanian Footwear designer Amina Muaddi has collaborated exclusively with Austrian crystal and jewelery house Swarovski for a new version of her iconic Julia Glass sandal.

The collaboration between Muaddi and Swarovski is part of Swarovski's Creators Lab: a lasting concept in which the brand calls on esteemed brands worldwide to release uniquely collectible, limited-release items. The signature sandal comes in a rosy pink colorway, adorned with crystal spikes that encircle the ankle and features a uniquely triangular-shaped flared glass heel for the ultimate mix of attitude and femininity.

'I've always been fascinated by the Swarovski universe, it's is such a big component of what I do so I was happy to work on a special collaborative effort with the masters of crystals. The Swarovski crystal spikes are the elements that make the Julia sandal special so I thought of creating an exclusive colour that celebrates femininity and what better than a pink hue to carry this message?', said Muaddi, in a press release.
