German skincare brand Augustinus Bader has teamed up with Academy Award-winning writer-director of Priscilla Sofia Coppola on a line of Lip Balms.
Marking it's first step into color cosmetics, the capsule follows on its release of a tinted priming moisturizer with Victoria Beckham back in 2019. The collaboration came about when Coppola, a longtime fan of the Bader face cream and lip balm reached out to the brand and asked them to create a lip tint based balm.
Available in three shades- a sheer deep pink, a bright red coral, and earthy burnt plum, the balm is made with a hydrating blend of plant-based butters and oils, including Shea butter, Vitamin E and Candelilla wax, as well as the signature Bader TFC8 technology.
'The Bader lip balm is one of my favorites so I was excited when the brand agreed to collaborate on a tinted version. Shade 1 is based on a favorite sheer deep pink lipstick I hoarded after it was discontinued, that's easy and adds a brightening, subtle tint. Shade 2 is a red coral I like for summer or at the beach, and Shade 3 is a burnt, earthy plum,' Coppola said in a release.
