BIOGRAPHY

Zoe Head is a model and multi-disciplinary artist based in Georgia. The stunning redhead is best known for her use of rich colors, depictions of nature, artful portraits and captivating sculptures.Zoe graduated with a Bachelor’s in Studio Art concentrating in 3D printing from the University of North Georgia. Following her graduation, she has been teaching herself to oil paint through plein-air, the act of painting outdoors. She can also be found creating out of her studio under the Purple House Gallery in Gainesville, Georgia. The rising face and artist has shown work at Quinlan Visual Arts Center and Canopy + The Roots in Georgia. One of Zoe’s most notable art collections is “Strangers”, a sculpture series based on a 3D scan of her head shape where various portraits and life moments are projected onto lithophane-composed faces (faces appear blank until they have light pass through). “Strangers” provided onlookers a small peek into these otherwise unknown lives. All of the images shown include abandoned photographs and invites the viewer to wonder about the mysterious identities. “Dan” is another beloved 3D printed sculpture of Zoe’s that dives deeper into the duplicity and dimension of a stranger. Overlapping facial expressions, but rendered without color — it sits unspeaking without answers. Like her work, Zoe’s natural beauty and soulful presence captivates all who encounter her. Zoe recently did an interview with I-D magazine, where she discussed her journey of being a natural red-head and her struggles of growing up without being considered as trendy as of today. The new face is fast becoming a favorite among clients for her artful approach to modeling and ability to transform in front of a camera. When she’s not traveling with her easel to mountains and parks, Zoe enjoys making jewelry, working on custom commissions and personal work.
