- Kirsty was approached by Storm's Sarah Doukas whilst on a school trip in London and invited, along with her parents, to London for interview. She was 16 at the time and at boarding school and completed her 'A' levels before moving to London and devoting her time to modelling. She had actually secured a place at Brunel University to study drama, but postponed it for a year to concentrate on her modelling career.
