- Jodie went to St Michael's boarding school for girls in Sussex, England. She was introduced to the IMG agency after she was discovered in September 1994 at a Barbados Ball in London by photographer Terry O'Neill. She was just 16 years old at the time and was being booked by magazines within a week. The rumour was she suffered from anorexia nervosa, because she was superskinny.
