Helle was born in Germany. Her father, a Norwegian doctor, and her mother a German art, literature and music lover, were both formative influences in her appreciation of medicine and the arts. While studying at University, Helle tried out as an extra on a movie set and landed a bigger role. Thinking this would be an eight week hiatus, the camera and agents had more ambitious plans. Robert Erdmann soon photographed her for Vogue, Her fresh face, easy smile and upbeat energy landed her the cover. That would ignite a legendary career that took her to NYC in 1989 and from there to destinations around the world.

She has since studied massage therapy and a wide variety of eastern techniques to alleviate chronic pain, and edema for patients recovering from cancer. Her primary interests are healing and health. She has enjoyed many gratifying years bringing balance and healing into her client’s lives. Helle is currently the lead entrepreneur at the University of Utah for new medical research and devices. Her primary new product is currently being tested in hospitals, and is projected to save thousands of children’s lives. She lives in a meticulously remodeled 1929 cottage in Utah, and values her family life. She has a grown daughter who is following her on-camera ambitions. Her passion is to make a difference.
