Wakanaka is a local Zimbabwean lifestyle, fashion, beauty and health magazine. Wakanaka in Shona, Umuhle in Ndebele, means "YOU are beautiful". It is aimed at women (and men) who like to feel beautiful, be happy and healthy. Each issue features an exclusive fashion photoshoot showcasing local designers, photographers and locations. Various articles highlight taking care of body and soul, nutrition, fitness, beauty, as well as, awareness of social and environmental issues. We all need to feel good about ourselves both inside and out, so this magazine endeavours to help with exactly that. People of interest in the many arts, music or business fields are also profiled to highlight the many talented and enterprising individuals in our community.
