Founded in 2008 by Rudy Rojas, Facundo Pellegrino and Juampi Bonino, REGIA Magazine meant a break in the publishing market and over the years became a haven for independent culture in Argentina. 14 years after its launch, the return of REGIA to its original format is an unprecedented commitment in a context that seems to go against the physical format. It’s a double or nothing bet. In the first issue of 2022, the nomadic epicenter Marcelo Burlon takes the cover and something else, with the photographer Gato Suaya traveling to his home in Argentine Patagonia, showing him immersed in his roots that saw him being born, leave and return, in a loop. It was a long road and it is an honor for me to be surrounded by a work team that, together with incredible brands that accompanied us, managed to reach this special international issue where the vision of a dystopian future becomes present and matter, in a collective vision once again at the reach of your hands in the best stores, galleries and bookstores around the world.
