Depeche Mode is a French fashion magazine published from the 1970s.
Belonging to Excelsior Publications , the title is however better known as the inspiration for the name of the English new wave group Depeche Mode.
In the early 1970s , Deborah Turbeville worked for the magazine as a photographer, but also Paolo Roversi a little later. The magazine, during this period, favored outdoor fashion photos and supported a whole generation of new designers present in Paris. The publication was then considered "the most avant-garde of fashion magazines".
