In addition to her charming looks and exceptional leisure-time activities, Leah Vucovics reportedly represents the new "east-west" era of German fashion models.
Her stunning 5'10" are surely a perfect requisite to strike as a popular face within the fashion industry. Just watch out for Leah, she might be on a flea market next to you!
But for now we had the chance to interview this easy going new face from Place ...

How did you get started in the modeling business?
Leah: It was on a Sunday. We have this flea market in our area and Yannis and me we like that kind off old vintage stuff a lot, so he saw me there and asked me if I want to become a model. After a while I went to Place Models, my new agency.

Did you ever think you'd be doing this?
Leah: No, for me it is really hard to believe but I work on it.

What do you like most about modeling? What do you like least?
Leah: I really like the experience what I get and to travel to so many different places and meet new people. To see what is behind the Camera, I was shy in the past, but now this job helps me a lot to be more open. I don't like unfriendly and unprofessional people that I meet sometimes ,but you find these kind of people everywhere, not in only in fashion.

Have you encountered any surprises along the way?
Leah: Ohh this happened so often!. It's normal. I try to find the right way to create this task.

Ever get tempted to get pulled into the party scene?
Leah: I don't like that kind of fashion parties. They are too much for me sometimes.

Have you developed any new interests since you started modeling?
Leah: Fashion and crazy magazines. Looking to find nice flea markets in other cities.

What are your favourite things to do in your free time?
Leah: I love the small things like sitting somewhere with nice people and just talking and laughing.

Out of all the places your career has taken you, where was the most memorable?
Leah: It is so strange how the time is running in Paris but I had a great time with Robin. She is also from Place. We were living there together and it was such a big fun.

Do you have a mentor? Who? What is it about them that affects you? Why?
Leah: My booker Yannis and Jan Eric from my mother agency were building my way. On the way I met a lot of people which were helping me to see more but when I have some question ore some problems I know they are there. Also my family is standing behind me whatever I do.

Where do you see yourself in ten years? What could be your next career?
Leah:I don't even see my self in the next month, but I hope I'll have a good base.

What are your beauty secrets? How do you stay in shape?
Leah: Natural Cosmetic and walking! I like to run and after the sport it's nice to go to the Spa.

What would you want people to know about you?
Leah: See me as a human not as a model.

Any advice for new models? What advice would you give other models starting out?
Leah: Find some people which you can trust and be yourself every time but also try to work on you and go your way.

Favourite all-time model:
Leah: Hmmm that's difficult…. I think its Ana Mihajlovic.

Favourite kind of food:
Leah: Tibetans.

I'd like to meet:
Leah: Top secret ;-)

If I were trapped on an island I'd take:
Leah: sun blocker!
