Patrick launched his own collection in September 1985 and was soon known in celebrity circles as ‚the shoe guru‘! By September 1991 he was ready to open his first boutique and so, number 8 Symons Street opened its doors. In 1993 Patrick’s diffusion line, “Wannabe” was launched. Focus and an ever-increasing demand paved the way for a string of boutiques to follow with the first Paris Boutique opening in July 1994.

In July 1994 Patrick opened his first shop in France – Paris and in September a further shop in Lyon, France.
In 1995 Patrick opened two further shops in London and Paris.

The Japanese puch kicks off with a shop at isetan Shinjukuku in Tokyo, in 1996, as part of the deal with Isetan, Cox launched various Japanese licences including; jewellery, ties, luggage, leather goods, watches and Wannabe clothing.
In 1996 the Patrick Cox Wannabe scooter is launched in association with Italjet.
In 2002 Patrick Cox Leather Goods were launched – a collection including bags, wallets, purses and belts for AW 02/03.
In 2006 Patrick Cox launched the luxury accessories line.
