Miriam Ponsa founded her own fashion label after she returned to her hometown of Barcelona, where she turned her great-grandmother’s haberdashery factory (which was build in 1820) into a workshop for her won collections.

Ponsa has recently opened a boutique in Manresa, but has a significant presence on international markets, which represent 80% of her sales. These markets include Japan, the Netherlands, the USA, Norway, France, Luxembourg, Denmark, Italy and Saudi Arabia.

The firm takes its collections to major trade shows worldwide including the International Fashion Fair in Tokyo, and Prêt à Porter and Workshop in Paris. She will soon be exhibiting her work at the Prestige fair (Dubai World Centre) in the United Arab Emirates.

Since four seasons, Miriam Ponsa has presented her collections at the Gaudí Catwalk.

Recognition began when Miriam Ponsa opened her first shop in arcelona, in the Born area (14, Carrer Princesa). This is where Miriam Ponsa displays her won world, leaves her mark and established a completely personal space.
