Founded in 2011, Lamoda is Russia's leading online fashion retailer and marketplace, offering products from top global brands such as John Richmond, Clarks, Buffalo, Nike, Guess, Levi's, and The North Face. They have a wide range of products available, including clothes, shoes, accessories, and beauty merchandise, and offer express delivery to their customers. Based in Moscow, Russia, Lamoda has quickly outgrown its original startup status and is working to become more global and mature, while also maintaining a human touch. They've transformed from being just a technological e-commerce platform to becoming a daily fashion consultant for their customers. In October 2022, the company was acquired by Iakov Panchenko. The team at Lamoda wanted their new identity to have a bit of a legacy and to clearly communicate that they are a part of the fashion industry. With this in mind, they developed an identity centered around the concept of a "new angle." This can be seen in the logo, patterns, key color and palette, and photo style. In addition to these basics, the team also created over 50 assets for various brand communication channels, including advertising and print materials, delivery uniforms and vehicles, motion principles, interior design and navigation, internal HR branding, and more. They also worked on developing UX and UI principles and designed a new website and app.
