In late 1986, a gang of surfers from Brest, France decided to realize a dream and create their own brand of surfwear, called Kanabeach. Kanabeach is specialized in creations for surfing, skating and board sports in general and sponsors a great number of competitions. Their hands made t-shirts are a favourite of their fan base, and the response has pushed them to conquer an industrial style ready-to-wear line.

In the regional dialect of Brittany, France, Kanabeach translates as « ode to travel ». The label’s hope is to take their clientele on a journey to the océan through every one of their designs. This translation of the world of surfing into clothing is set to be a huge success with young people everywhere.

10 years after its creation, Kanabeach has 20 flagship stores all over France and 650 retail stores distributing its creations. The two annual collections now offer blouses, trousers, sarongs, polo shirts and dress shirts designed for men but catering for women and children as well.
