about
The sandal company K. Jacques was created in Saint Tropez in 1933 by Jacques Keklikian and his wife. The house quickly became a big name in the jet-setting community of the Cote d’Azur. Political personalities, film stars and cultural personalities became big fans of the custom made sandals.
Today just as reputable as at the time of the brand’s creation, the K. Jacques empire has developed considerably and now includes dozens of different models of sandals. Their famous “Tropez” sandals have now inspired many other shoe brands to create similar designs.
K. Jacques is now present in Saint Tropez and Paris. Besides selling sandals and flip-flops in boutiques and on the Internet, the Southern French brand has collaborated with numerous different ready-to-wear and Haute Couture labels. Among others, K. Jacques has teamed with Balenciaga, Courreges, Karl Lagerfeld, Isabel Marant, Missoni, Paco Rabane and Joseph.
