about
Patricia Field opened her botique House of Field in New York during the 1960s. Free-spirited and style entirely her own, the House of Field has a very loyal clientele, almost raising Patricia Field's clothes to cult status.
But although she was well known in the New York fashion circuit, Patricia Field did not become a household name until the second season of HBO's hit show, "Sex and the City." Dressing the four lead characters each week with the latest fashion made Patricia Field an iconic figure, with a global reach.
The House of Field debuted at the tents in Bryant Park during the Spring 2002 season.
