Hassia

The company HASSIA has its roots in the shoe factory Wallerstein & Liebmann founded in 1884, who was known for their extraordinary innovative power.

In 1890, Wallerstein & Liebmann introduced as one of the first shoe factories in Germany advanced manufacturing processes such as the McKay-method into the mechanical shoe manufacturing.

After co-owner Wallerstein had left the company, the Liebman family built in Offenbach a neoclassical factory which is now a listed building used as a service and communications center.

In 1998, the shoe factory was taken over by the LORENZ Shoe Group. The sophisticated fitmaintained by the extra width and the comfortable interior guarantees a relaxing walking all day long.

All HASSIA shoes are equipped with removable footbeds, which allows customization and the use of individual inserts.
