Goodone was founded in 2006 by Nin Castle and Phoebe Emerson in Brighton in a disused car showroom.

The same year the founder relocated the studio to London and the clothing were available in first boutique stores.

Nin and Phoebe design and produce recycled clothing by using unique combinations of handpicked recycled fabrics, and are able to mass produce one off garments. Goodone designs are sold in five stockists in London, Manchester and Brighton, as well as through their online shop at www.goodone.co.uk, which has over 70 unique items and is constantly updated. It is Nin and Phoebe's goal to build a reputable brand which is internationally recognised for the design and production of recycled clothing and to instigate a positive change within the fashion industry.

In 2008 Nin Castle took full ownership of Goodone when Phoebe Emerson moves on to pursue a career in teaching.

Goodone was sponsored by Estethica to exhibit at London Fashion week in February 2009. The show was very well received and Goodone expanded to international stockiest in Berlin, Hong Kong, Melbourne and New York, as well as more in London and across the UK.
