Launched in 2007, Danish label Gestuz, is run by founders Sanne Sehested Nielsen and Lene Boesen. Their aim was, in Nielsen�s words, to �create a brand which will make its mark on quality and price� and combine the commercial with the creative. A collective effort, the Gestuz line is designed and run by the founders and a number of additional designers, including Tilde Bjerregaard, a graduate of the prestigious Danmarks Designskole, and graphic artist-cum-womenswear designer, Signe Elisabeth Vedel.
After just two years, Gestuz has become a fully-independent brand, to allow it to focus even more on the latest trends, quality designs and targeted marketing. The brand has gained a foothold on the international design scene in record time, and is already represented in over 25 countries.
Feminine yet provocative, the Gestuz girl �blends sweetness with a hint of scandal.� The latest collection combines the brand�s characteristic rock n�roll attitude with slouchy knitwear and graphic prints.
Packed with stylishly distinct pieces suitable for casual everyday cool, the new line also caters for your inner wild child with an emphasis on leather teamed with soft wool, silk and denim. With a wide variety of styles playing on the sophisti-grunge theme, the Gestuz team are on a roll with this season�s collection.
