Amis Garrigue began her career in fashion when she signed as a fashion stylist with a talent agency in 1997 traveling internationally working on numerous fashion and advertising campaigns. In the spring of 2002 she met her ex-design partner Eric Jarossay, who was a formal accessory designer for YSL Accessories followed by a design position at Andrew GN. After becoming great friends and sharing ideas, and their love for accessories, and design Eric Jarossay decided to leave Andrew GN and join her to launch their first collection together as GARRIGUE & JAROSSAY for spring 2004. The collection included totes, shoulder bags and clutches in fine leather and silk, covered with their signature embroidery patterns which were handcrafted in Europe exclusively for GARRIGUE & JAROSSAY. They had a small private showing in New York and sold to stores like Kirna Zabete NYC, Henri Bendel NYC, Fred Segal Santa Monica, and Ultimo Chicago, Korshak Dallas. From the following season they showed their collection In Paris at Premiere Classe and sold internationally to some of the top Retailers around the world.
