Growing up in NYC, designer Gara Post developed a passion for vintage jewelry that she found in shops and flea markets throughout the streets of Manhattan. Later her move to Los Angeles softened her design approach with the city�s laid back and sun drenched lifestyle. Post then decided to launch Gara Danielle, which is a fusion of eclectic NYC style and the ease of Los Angeles� natural beauty.

In 2008 she launched Gara Danielle Fine Jewelry, a collection of post modern estate pieces, made from 18KT yellow and oxidized gold, mixed with rose cut diamonds of varying hue, including cognac and black. The fashion line consists of 14KT gold-filled, sterling silver, mixed metal overlay (gunmetal, rose gold, yellow gold and rhodium), all mixed with semi-precious stones including but mot limited to; amethyst, natural carnelian, chrysophrase, quartz and chalcedony.

The collection can be found at an eclectic mix of retail outlets including Intermix, nationwide; Barney�s New York, nationwide; Henri Bendel, NYC; and Ron Herman/Fred Segal, CA.
