Flexees shapewear is made by Maidenform. Maidenform is a New Jersey based manufacturer of women's underwear which was founded in 1922 and became famous for the Madenform Bra. Maidenform produced both dresses and support undergarments, particularly bras that accentuated the natural shape of a woman's figure, hence the name Maidenform.

In 1992 Maidenform aquired Flexees brand in department stores.
