Ell & cee began in 2002 when designer Laura Cloke, a former Fashion Graduate (KIAD Rochester) started producing small handmade collections of feminine pieces for selected London boutiques. Press coverage grew for the vintage inspired boudoir pieces and Ell & Cee began to establish a place in the luxury lingerie market, seeing the brand show for the first time at London Fashion Week in February 2007.
Silk Ruffle knickers and Peek-a- Boo panties are classic styles in every collection, but Ell & Cee is simply not just a lingerie label. A great believer in not keeping such sumptuous silk frills under wraps, camisoles and bed jackets make flirtatious outerwear and add a touch of romanticism to everyday dressing.
Inspiration is taken from the boudoir and harks back to the days when ladies took pleasure in dressing up and flaunting their femininity. Collections are 100% silk and made in the uk, with each individual piece hand finished lovingly by the Ell & Cee team.
The label continues to grow and can now be found in luxurious boutiques, including Miss Lala’s Boudoir and Tallulah in the UK, Lilou Au Balcon in Paris and Le Mistress in Sydney.
