about
Since 1947, the Dior Haute Couture studios of Avenue Montaigne houses the best workers able to achieve in only a few weeks the Couture challenges set for them by the Dior House.
Sewn together with knowledge, creativity and watchmaking requirements, Dior watches had to come into the world via the international watchmaking cradle in Switzerland, at la Chaux-de-fonds.
Created in the studios of Avenue Montaigne, developed by a team of watchmaking experts, Dior watches continues the logic of excellence of the Dior House.
The reliability of Dior watches is equally guaranteed by their dual compliance to the international technical standards and to the "Swiss Made" norms.
The Dior watches are available in three lines from distinct universes:
- La D de Dior, the story of a woman who decides to wear a man's watch so that she is always thinking of him created by Victoire de Castellane in the autumn of 2003.
- Chiffre Rouge, the rewriting of a watchmaking classic created in 2004. A unique and identifiable object, which combines the concern for technical performance with the formal vocabulary of Dior Homme.
- Dior Christal, a discreet tribute to Christian Dior since 2005, diverting the use of sapphire crystal, traditionally used for the watch glass, into a decorative element. It incarnates the sophistication of a watchmaker who conceives each of their watches like a couture piece.
