The Beginnings of Dalery
The adventure began in 1991 when Didier Dalery made an investment in a leather goods manufacturing company. In a small workshop, the first accessories bearing the Dalery brand were created. Simultaneously, the first boutique opened its doors in Saint-Priest, Rhône (69).
In 1995, Didier Dalery shifted his focus to full-time distribution and embarked on the journey of establishing specialized boutiques for multi-brand leather goods. As the success grew, eight new boutiques emerged in the southeast of France. To support these stores, the company invested in its first logistics warehouse in Firminy (42).
Dalery has always aspired to make luxury accessible to a wide audience. The brand's affordable prices have captivated and delighted fashion enthusiasts who desire to stand out while enjoying the understated charm of French luxury.
The Revival of a Brand
In the following years, Didier Dalery expanded the product range and honed his design skills. Fueling his thirst for discovery, he embarked on several journeys around the world to seek inspiration and connect with the finest artisans.
Upon his return, armed with experiences and determination, Didier Dalery decided to take a significant leap in 2007 as the sole leader of the company. Constantly in pursuit of the best for his clientele, he aimed to create models that would elevate women, modernize men, and accompany travelers. To broaden the product offerings, he made the decision to professionalize the manufacturing process. As a natural course of action, he reintroduced his eponymous brand: Dalery.
A Major Turning Point
The year 2008 marked a significant turning point in the history of Maison Dalery. Didier Dalery sought to establish the reputation of his future brand and decided to rename the boutiques under the banner of Dalery Maroquinier while reimagining the concept of each store.
The first Dalery Maroquinier boutique opened its doors on August 14, 2008, in Valence (26).
A Meteoric Rise
The initial creations of the Dalery brand materialized, transforming the designer's imagination into a perfect reality. The success was immediate, and customers enthusiastically discovered the original pieces conceived by the creator at an affordable price. Didier Dalery's vision was to allow fashion enthusiasts to vary their accessories according to the seasons and their desires.
As the Dalery brand flourished, Didier Dalery rapidly expanded the network of multi-brand boutiques. Within two years, the Dalery network consisted of 25 stores.
From the small workshop in Firminy (42), where the brand's first creations were born, the entire headquarters and logistics warehouse relocated to Chambon-Feugerolles (42). The new premises encompassed over 5000m², accommodating new activities such as a design workshop, a repair workshop, a showroom presenting the latest collections, and an enhanced back-office.
This marked the beginning of an epic journey within Maison Dalery, leading to a rapid evolution in the world of accessories, culminating in the opening of the 50th boutique in early 2016.
Crafting an Unique Universe
During these years, Didier Dalery tirelessly sought the best products to offer. Leather accessories were modernized, enriched, and became references in the fashion industry.
His style and creations positioned Dalery among the leading French leather goods brands, catering to a clientele that sought a perfect blend of pleasure and trend.
To meet growing demand, Maison Dalery entered the digital realm by creating its own e-commerce website. The platform showcases the entire range of Dalery products, provides exclusive previews of new collections, and shares the latest commercial news from the network.
