about
Dai Rees launched his own label in 1997. On his own label, he started by working with some of Britains top designers to create show accessories, including the memorable quill head pieces for Alexander McQueen’s Spring Summer ‘97 collection ‘La Poupee’ and the body and head quill constructions for Julien MacDonald’s Autumn Winter ‘97 ‘Mermaids’ and Spring Summer ‘98 ‘Modernist’ collections.
Although the label did launch on millinery, it has established a reputation for sophisticated womenswear spanning from simple daywear to eveningwear and accessories.
The brand is known to play with texture, shape and form in mainly natural fibers.
