Couverture & The Garbstore

Couverture and the Garbstore was conceived as a creative concept by Emily Dyson-Paley and Ian Paley in 2008. Housed in a three-story converted period townhouse, this Notting Hill style haven transports you through an eclectic edit of womenswear, menswear, accessories and homewares with a gentle, welcoming ease. Situated within the diverse and vibrant streets of Portobello and Notting Hill - they provide the perfect backdrop for this hidden London gem. Focusing on championing emerging and independent labels with a story to tell, these carefully curated collections perfectly embody the ‘shop independent’ philosophy that Couverture and the Garbstore stand by.

The basement is home to the eponymous menswear brand in addition to a selection of cult, international labels, limited edition collaborations and exclusive products. Wind your way upstairs to find a delectable showcase of artful womenswear and accessories whilst the first floor is a bewitching world of idiosyncratic homewares from cosy throws to quirky objects and collectibles.
