As a woman in her forties with a diverse background and a passion for fashion, Clarisse has always had a knack for discovering unique pieces from every corner of the world. When she couldn't find what she was looking for, she took matters into her own hands.
Clarisse's creative process is purely instinctive. She creates what she desires and then fills the gaps she perceives in the market. This intuitive approach to design sets Claris Virot apart.
The brand's journey began with Clarisse's instinctual pursuit. After spending summers in Bali, where she discovered talented local artisans, Clarisse decided to have her ideal bag made—a vibrant yellow python creation. Impressed by her talent and the endless possibilities offered by this material, one of her friends proposed developing a brand. The following summer, the first Claris Virot collection emerged from the workshops in Bali. Among the designs, the Charly bag, named after Clarisse's daughter, quickly became the brand's best-seller.
