Honoring a commitment to quality materials and timeless design, Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark opened the first freestanding Chrome Hearts store in 1996 in New York City.
Recognized for its extensive product line and hand-craftsmanship, Chrome Hearts has been honored with a CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Award and has been included in such prestigious exhibits as the Rock Style" collection at the NY Met's Costume Institute and "The Nature of Diamonds" exhibit at Tokyo's National Science Museum.
Chrome Hearts has twenty-three stores globally including the United States, Europe and Asia and can be found in the most exclusive boutiques around the world including Bergdorf Goodman in NY, Colette in Paris and Selfridges in London.
Taking a design cue from its beginnings as a motorcycle-riding gear company the vast line includes handmade jewelry in sterling silver, gold, platinum & precious stones; apparel, eyewear, luggage & leather goods; and handcrafted furnishings & home items in exotic woods. Notable designs and motifs include daggers, crosses, stars, spikes & fleurs. Chrome Hearts has also engaged in exclusive limited collaborations including a crystal collection with Baccarat, a partnership with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation that produced pieces inspired by the artists work and design ventures with Comme des Garons, Rick Owens and Gareth Pugh.
