In 1999 Cheri Milaney launched her first prêt-a-porter collection. Cheri has been recognized internationally for her design talent and vision. Cheri sees design as liberating. Using her design skills she gives women the freedom to express their individuality and to celebrate diversity in size, shape, ethnicity and age. Cheri is known for her use of exquisite Italian fabrics, her special couture details and finishing touches, and the quality workmanship of her made-in-Canada designs. In Italy, Cheri has developed close relationships with some of the world’s leading mills where she develops fabrics, knits and accessories for each season. The Cheri Milaney signature collection is manufactured primarily in Canada, while some elements, such as knits and custom hand-made buttons and coordinating jewelry are crafted in Italy. An exciting debut this fall is the Cheri Milaney Facets Fragrance Collection: Ametista, Perla, Rubino and Topazio. The collection was created in Southern Italy and inspired by Cheri's multi-faceted customers.
