In 1995 Gitte Breil and Claus Walter Jensen start up Change of Scandinavia A/S with the goal of producing Change nightwear in China. The merchandise is sold as private label in large department stores in Europe.

in 1997 Lissi Lid comes to Change. With her international hosiery education and 40 years of experience in making lingerie, she masters the handicraft of designing, forming and sewing lingerie. She brings the necessary know-how to Change and develops the bra that fits perfectly in every size.

Lissi Lid designs the first Change collection to be sold under the Change brand in department stores and lingerie stores in 1998. In this first collection, there are several bras which even today are bestsellers at Change.

In November 2001, the first Change stores open in Copenhagen and Ringsted, Denmark.

In 2002 Change introduces the swimwear collection which is based on the same principles as the lingerie; perfect fit and a large selection of sizes.

In June 2002, the first Change concept store opens outside Denmark in Kristiansand, Norway. During the years to come more stores open in Scandinavia, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Canada and the Middle East. Change lingerie is also sold through retailers in 20 different countries.

Change has become the largest lingerie chain in Scandinavia and in February 2008, store number 100 is opened in Vester�s, Sweden.

Change sustains its growth and in September 2009, opens 12 new stores in northern Spain.

In 2010 Change makes a global stake, with the opening of new stores in England and going online with the Change Webshop.
