Blue Man is one of the most traditional Brazilian swimwear company founded by David Azulay.

David Azulay designed the first bikini in 1972 for a girlfriend. It was a very revealing model made of jeans, which soon get popular on the beaches. Then the model, Rose Di Primo, became the face of the label, which won the Brazilian coast.

In 1974, the first Blue Man store opened the doors to Santa Clara, 33 in Copacabana, with a staff of 14 employees. And the creations began to roll like the Rolling Stone ...

In 1975, Blue Man participated for the first time at the Fashion Rio fair, Hotel Nacional, and sold more than 150,000 pieces.

In 1979, the Blue Man started using tropical prints that until today are a part of the collections.

Blue Man was for the first time future in the American magazine Sports Illustrated in 1980.

The first Blue Man store was launched in 1983.

In the early 1980s Blue Man began to export internationally, to counties such as Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Israel, Portugal and Denmark parading originality and style.

Exporting to the United States since 1978, Blue Man opened its first store outside Brazil in 1990, in Miami at the South Beach. And it didn�t take long to get the attention of stars like designer Gianni Versace, Thierry Muggler, Tommy Hilfiger, singer Cindey Lauper, Mickey Rourke and many others.
