Andrew Groves first showed as part of London Fashion Week in March 1997 with his graduate St Martin's collection, and continued to show at London Fashion Week until March 2001, showing eight full runway collections starting off schedule and being the finale of London Fashion Week by his fourth Show, Cocaine Nights.

Dealing with issues ranging from racism on the runway, the 'Troubles' in Northern Irelaand, Drugs, mental illness, and the roma diaspora his shows seemed to always be contradictory and controversial, and both annoy and enthrall in equal measures.
