Brooklyn-based Jewellery line Aesa was launched by Randi Mates in 2006. The range draws inspiration from Greek and Roman metal working and each quirky piece is hand-made in the New York borough. The jewellery combines the precious metals gold, silver, and bronze with black pearls, sapphire, black diamond, tourmaline, and citrine. In the time that Mates has been selling her creations to a variety of boutiques, her collection has been picked up by a number of famous stores including Barneys, No. 6, Assembly, Blessing, Castor & Pollux and more.
