"I don't love the red carpet, because it's loud and unnatural, but I do still get excited when I put on the chosen dress for the evening because I feel confident. Fashion can do that to you. I have a great relationship with Givenchy. I basically will wear whatever Riccardo designs because it's always interesting." she reveals on her thoughts on fashion and the red carpet.
One of the things Seyfried and her beau Justin Long (who have been together since the summer of 2013) have in common is that they are both very close to their families. Recalling the first time she met him through friends a few years ago she says..
"I followed him on Instagram, and I thought something he said was really funny. It was a beautiful picture of a snail, and the caption said, "Fucking MOOOOOOOOVE." It made me laugh out loud, so I texted him." Though this is a relatively young relationship, she talks about Long, who is 36, as if they've been together for many years.
"I really do have my own identity, both inside and outside the relationship, if that makes any sense. It just feels right. It's also really good to feel OK being alone."
Discussing the infamous incident when she downed a few shots of whiskey and did an interview on "The Late Show with David Letterman" she talks about her problem with anxiety and reveals she suffers from fears, stage fright, and panic attacks.
"It made it fun for me, but then I watched it and was like 'That is not what I want to promote about myself.' I have a lot of anxiety that I've been struggling with my whole life. So I have been working through it. I'm terrified, but this is exactly what I wanted."
Seyfried who also stars in a super cute video (which features on the fashion bible's website) alongside her adorable dog Finn whom she is hopelessly devoted to and hence she tries not to travel too much.
"I just don't want to leave him anymore. Maybe it's because I'm subconsciously aware of his mortality. I try not to think about it, but somewhere inside of me, I'm like, He's going to die way sooner than all the rest of the people I know!"
